HDPE Water Trap Design Concept: Organic Integration of Function, Materials, and Engineering

In modern building water supply and drainage systems, water traps, though small components, bear the core function of blocking harmful gases and ensuring indoor hygiene. The design must consider interface types and tolerances to ensure easy on-site installation and eliminate the risk of leakage. For the needs of prefabricated and green buildings, modular and standardized design approaches are widely used, enabling the rapid integration of water traps into prefabricated drainage units, improving overall construction efficiency.

Furthermore, sustainable design principles are also incorporated. HDPE is recyclable, and its production process has relatively low energy consumption. The design focuses on extending service life and reducing maintenance frequency, thereby reducing the environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle.
