The threaded HDPE Lateral Cross features an overall diagonal cross-shaped structure. All four interfaces are designed with threaded connection structures, and come with matching threaded locknuts and silicone sealing rings. It can be directly screwed and butted with HDPE threaded pipes of the same specification, serving as a core connecting fitting for realizing oblique pipeline branching in HDPE drainage systems. By virtue of the diagonal interface design, it allows branch pipes to intersect with the main pipe at an angle, reducing the flow resistance of sewage at the pipeline intersection, avoiding the formation of water flow dead zones, and lowering the probability of pipeline blockage. Through thread engagement combined with sealing rings, it achieves tight connection of four-way pipelines, preventing leakage and water seepage during drainage, and ensuring the tightness of the drainage system.
Product Advantages
- The meshing structure of threaded screwing makes the connection between pipes and fittings tighter, with strong anti-vibration and anti-falling capabilities.
- The diagonal intersection design optimizes the water flow path. Compared with planar cross tees, it can reduce water flow impact and eddy currents, improve overall drainage speed, and lower the risk of blockage.
- The double sealing design of threads and sealing rings allows controlling the sealing degree by adjusting the screwing force, effectively avoiding interface leakage and ensuring strong sealing stability.
- HDPE material is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, aging and impact, with a smooth inner wall that does not scale, and is not easy to crack in low-temperature environments.
- The interface can be disassembled by screwing. During later cleaning of blockages, pipeline rerouting or fitting replacement, there is no need to damage the pipeline, making maintenance operations simple and convenient.

The gland-type HDPE Lateral Cross has a main body with a 45-degree diagonal cross-shaped structure. All four interfaces are of socket design, equipped with twistable gland locknuts and built-in EPDM sealing rings. No hot melting or thread engagement is required; direct pipe insertion can achieve sealing. It can realize 45-degree oblique four-way diversion/confluence of HDPE drainage pipes, with branch pipes forming a 45-degree angle with the main pipe. This optimizes water flow direction, avoids water flow impact and eddy currents in planar intersection, and greatly reduces pipeline blockage and drainage noise. It relies on the gland and sealing ring to form a reliable seal, eliminating interface leakage, ensuring the tightness of the drainage system, solving the installation limitations of planar cross tees in narrow spaces and complex pipeline directions, and reducing the number of pipe bends.
Product Advantages
- No hot melting or threading required; plug-in installation can be completed by hand. The construction speed is fast, even beginners can operate it, greatly improving on-site efficiency.
- The gland compresses the sealing ring to form a flexible seal, which can adapt to slight pipeline displacement/vibration, resist water pressure fluctuations, and has no leakage risk during long-term use.
- The 45-degree diagonal interface design allows water flow to merge into the main pipe in a forward direction, reducing resistance and dead zones. The anti-blocking effect is far superior to that of planar cross tees, and drainage efficiency is improved.
- Integrally molded, resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, impact, aging and low temperature, with a smooth inner wall that does not scale, ensuring a long service life.

The hot-melt lateral cross is an integrated HDPE pipe fitting. The main pipe is a straight-through structure, and the side branch pipes are 45-degree diagonal branches. Both ends are designed with hot-melt sockets. The overall structure has no weld leakage risk, with uniform wall thickness and strong pressure resistance. It is used in HDPE pipeline systems to realize 45-degree diagonal diversion/confluence, replacing right-angle cross tees to reduce medium flow resistance and avoid noise and air blockage caused by water flow impact.
Product Advantages
- Hot-melt connection has extremely strong sealing performance, zero leakage, high pressure and corrosion resistance, suitable for various working conditions such as buried and overhead installation.
- The 45-degree diagonal branch design ensures smooth medium flow, with much lower resistance than right-angle cross tees, reducing energy consumption and pipeline noise.
- Integrated HDPE material, resistant to aging and impact, compatible and fused with the same material as the pipe, resulting in high overall pipeline stability and long service life.
- Convenient installation; an integral structure is formed after hot-melt socket installation, with no loosening hazard and extremely low later maintenance cost.
